Renato Mettler joined Vontobel in October 2020. He is a Portfolio Manager within the Commodities team of the Multi Asset Boutique. As the flagship product is actively and discretionary managed, Renato is responsible for the investment decisions made across all agricultural sectors. In his previous role as a Client Portfolio Manager, he covered various strategies, including quantitative and discretionary multi-asset solutions as well as portfolios in global and Swiss bonds as well as in Swiss equities.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he was an investment operations manager for one of the largest Swiss pension schemes.

Renato holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Banking & Finance with focus on Capital Markets & Data Science from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He is also a CFA® charterholder and a CAIA charterholder.
