Meet Thierry

Thierry Larose joined Vontobel in January 2018. He is Portfolio Manager/Analyst in the Emerging Markets Bonds team within Fixed Income.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he was a portfolio manager at Degroof Petercam Asset Management from 2010, initially as co-manager of high-yield and emerging-market bond funds and responsible for the positioning of bond portfolios investing in emerging markets worldwide. In 2013, he launched a sustainable emerging-market bond fund, which he managed until 2017 and whose performance consistently ranked in the top decile of its category. In 2008, he founded Inbelflu Participações e Investimentos Ltda, based in Rio de Janeiro, a boutique specialized in financial consulting and raising seed capital, whose CEO he was until 2010. From 2004, he worked within Global Banking and Markets at HSBC in London. He began his career in 1990 as an interest-rate derivatives trader at Crédit Commercial de France in Brussels.

Thierry holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Liège.
