Meet Max

Max Guthmann joined Vontobel in February 2023. He is a Portfolio Manager within the Equity Income, Factor & Quant Solutions team of the Multi Asset Boutique. He manages equity factor and income strategies, utilizing options to enhance income. Before his current role, he was a Portfolio Manager in the Liquid Alternatives team of the Multi Asset Boutique based in Munich managing multi-asset strategies for institutional clients in Germany.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he gained experience in the Asset Management department of Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH and in the Structured Solutions & Treasury department of Vontobel in Frankfurt.

Max holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Maastricht University and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Buenos Aires. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
