Kerstin Hottner joined Vontobel in 2016. She is the Head of the Commodities team in the Multi Asset Boutique and is the lead portfolio manager for Vontobel’s commodity funds. As the flagship product is actively and discretionary managed, Kerstin is responsible for the investment decisions made within a universe of 30 commodities across metals, energy and agricultural sectors.
Prior to joining Vontobel, she worked as a portfolio manager starting in 2014 at Vescore (integrated into Vontobel in 2016), where she invested in commodities both as a stand-alone asset class and in a multi-asset context since 2015. Her commodity views have been published by various media outlets over the past years.
Kerstin holds a Master of Science in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany). She is also a CFA® charterholder.
