Meet Christoph

Christoph Loy joined Vontobel in 2016 as a Senior Portfolio Manager within Quantitative Investments. Since 2024, he is a member of the Hybrid Portfolio Management team, which manages hybrid investment solutions applying the ‘human and machine’ approach. Previously, he was Head of Solutions Germany, responsible for quantitative customized institutional mandates and mutual funds for clients domiciled in Germany.

Prior to joining Vontobel, from 2013, he worked as a portfolio manager and one year later senior portfolio manager at Vescore (integrated into Vontobel in 2016). He began his professional career in 2010 at the German subsidiary of Swiss Life AG within the Investment Controlling division.

Christoph holds a degree in Business Mathematics from the University Ludwig Maximilian in Munich (Germany) and from the University of New South Wales, Sydney (Australia). He is also a CFA® charterholder.
