Emily Kao joined Vontobel in September 2010. Since January 2021, she is ESG Analyst within Quality Growth. Until 2016, she was Operations Associate, responsible for performance analytics. She then briefly left our firm to pursue personal interests, but rejoined in 2018 to work, initially as an ESG Consultant, with the Head of Quality Growth ESG Research.
Prior to joining Vontobel, she was an analyst in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs from 2004 to 2006. She began her financial career in 2000 at Sanford C. Bernstein, where she worked as a research assistant until 2003.
Emily holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New York University.
