Frank Häusler joined Vontobel in 2018. He is Chief Investment Strategist within Multi Asset and heads the Investment Strategy team and the 3 Alpha Portfolio Management team (discretionary for private clients) teams. Previously, he was Head of Macroeconomic Cross-Asset Research.
Prior to joining Vontobel, from 2014 to 2018, he worked at Marcuard Family Office as Chief Investment Officer and was a member of the Investment Advisory Board of a large US family office. From 2009 until 2013, he held various positions at private bank Wegelin and at 1741 Asset Management (one of Wegelin’s successor organizations), including Head of Research, Head of Portfolio Management, and ultimately CEO of 1741 Asset Management. He was also the portfolio manager of award-winning liquid alternatives funds.
Frank holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the ETH Zurich and attended IMD’s senior leadership program.
