Frank Häusler joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2018 as Head of Macroeconomic Cross-Asset Research within the Multi Asset Boutique. In 2019, he was appointed Chief Investment Strategist. Now, Frank heads both the Investment Strategy and 3 Alpha Portfolio Management (discretionary wealth management) teams within the Vontobel Multi Asset Boutique.
Prior to joining Vontobel, from 2014 to 2018, he worked at Marcuard Family Office as Chief Investment Officer and was in the Investment Advisory Board of a large US family office. From 2009 until 2013, Frank served at private bank Wegelin and at 1741 Asset Management, one of its successor organizations, in various positions. These included Head of Research, Head of Portfolio Management, and ultimately, CEO of 1741 Asset Management. He was also the portfolio manager of award-winning liquid alternatives funds.
Frank holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the ETH Zurich and attended IMD’s senior leadership program.
