Meet Emily

Emily Kao joined Vontobel Asset Management in September 2010 as an Operations Associate responsible for performance analytics. She left the firm briefly in 2016 to pursue personal interests and rejoined in 2018 as an ESG Consultant working with the Head of Thought Leadership & ESG. Subsequently, she was offered full time employment by the firm as an ESG Analyst in January 2021.  
 
Prior to joining Vontobel Asset Management, she worked as a private wealth management analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2004-2006. She began her financial career in 2000 as a research assistant at Sanford C. Bernstein until 2003.
 
Emily Kao received a M.A. in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and holds a B.S. in Finance from New York University.
