Meet Stella

Stella Ma joined Vontobel in April 2021. She is Portfolio Manager / Analyst in the Corporate Bonds team within Fixed Income and Lead Portfolio Manager of the Global High Yield Bonds strategy.

Prior to joining Vontobel, she worked at Julius Baer Investment Management from March 2016, where she set up the firm’s Global High Yield Bond Fund and was its lead portfolio manager. Before that, she was a portfolio manager and credit analyst at Bluecrest Capital Management in London, where she was allocated capital to run a credit long/short portfolio within the firm’s Multi Strategy Credit Fund, before becoming a Bluecrest partner in 2010. Previously, she worked as a high-yield credit analyst at Morgan Stanley in London for three years. She started her career in fixed income in 2001 as a credit research analyst at ING Financial Markets.

Stella holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is also a CFA® charterholder.
