Thierry Larose joined Vontobel Asset Management in January 2018. He is Portfolio Manager/Analyst in the Emerging Markets Bonds team within the Fixed Income Boutique.
Prior to joining Vontobel, he was portfolio manager at Degroof Petercam Asset Management. From 2013 to 2017, he launched and managed a sustainable emerging markets bonds fund, whose performance consistently ranked in the top decile of its category. From 2010 to 2013, he co-managed high-yield and emerging markets bonds funds and was responsible for the emerging markets positioning of crossover portfolios. From 2008 to 2010, he was founder and CEO of Inbelflu Participações e Investimentos Ltda based in Rio de Janeiro, a boutique specialized in financial consulting/advisory and seed-capital raising. He began his career in 1990 as an interest rate derivatives trader at Crédit Commercial de France in Brussels, before joining HSBC Bank’s Global Banking and Markets division in London in 2004.
Thierry holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Liège.
