Meet Mathias

Mathias Koller joined Vontobel Asset Management in autumn 2016. As Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Balanced Solutions team within the Vontobel Multi Asset Boutique, he manages balanced funds and mandates with an ESG approach. Prior to this, he worked in the same capacity at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG (since 2014) then at Vescore AG (founded in 2015, acquired by Vontobel in 2016). From 2005 to 2014, he was Senior Portfolio Manager for balanced portfolios.

Prior to joining Vontobel, from 2000 to 2005, he was Investment Controller at Watson Wyatt AG. In 1999, he worked in equity research at Dr. Höller Vermögensverwaltung AG. He started his professional career in 1996 at UBS AG.

Mathias holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Zurich (lic. oec. publ.). He also holds the CIIA® certificate for financial analysts and asset managers, issued by AZEK, Swiss training center for professionals.
