Meet José Luis

José Luis Ezcurra joined Vontobel in February 2008. He is Sales Head Institutional Clients Americas, responsible for the distribution to institutional clients in the Americas. This includes US-based global banks, institutional, and intermediary businesses, as well as institutions in Canada and Latin America (LatAm). From 2018, as Head of LatAm and US Offshore, he led our distribution efforts in the region by locally managing third-party partnerships. Additionally, he spearheaded our commitment to global banks, establishing close relationships with their headquarters’ representatives and their local teams. Prior to this, he was Head of Iberia and LatAm.

Before joining Vontobel, he was a co-founding partner of Harcourt since January 2004, responsible for business development in Iberia and Latin America. Prior to this, he was responsible for business development in Spain, Andorra, and Portugal at CM Capital Markets, a member of the ABN AMRO Group. Previously, he worked in European Equity Sales at KBC Securities and in Japanese Equity Sales at UBS Warburg. He started his career in Japanese Equity Sales at Nomura Securities.

José Luis holds a degree in Economics (Honors) from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
