Meet Johannes

Johannes Weisser joined Vontobel Asset Management in November 2021. As Client Portfolio Manager within the Fixed Income Boutique, he covers global and Swiss bonds as well as corporate bonds.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked as Client Portfolio Manager at MEAG Munich Ergo Asset Management, where he was specialized in global fixed income, and at RobecoSAM, where he focused on sustainable thematic equities. Before that, he was Portfolio Manager for 15 years, among others at Bank Sarasin, where he headed the Asset Management Fixed Income and Absolute Return team.

Johannes holds a master’s degree in Economics from Albert Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau. He also holds the CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager) qualifications.
