Ireneus Stanislawek joined Vontobel Asset Management in November 2016 as Senior Equity Strategist. He supports the mtx Portfolio Management team by providing quantitative research.
Prior to joining Vontobel, Ireneus was Director Equity Strategy/Quantitative Equity Research at Vescore, responsible for tactical asset allocation and for developing and implementing quantitative screens. Before that, Ireneus was Director Portfolio Management at 1741 Asset Management Ltd. (previously Wegelin & Co) and equity analyst at Lehman Brothers (Nomura) in London. Ireneus started his financial career in 2004 at HSBC as equity analyst.
Ireneus holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen. He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and CFA® charterholder.
