Grant Bughman joined Vontobel in February 2019. As Head of the Client Portfolio Management Team within Quality Growth, he is responsible for communicating to the outside the investment philosophy, investment process, positioning, performance, and risk management of the Quality Growth portfolios.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked at UBS Asset Management from 2005 to 2019 as Lead Client Portfolio Manager for active equities in the Americas, responsible for coverage of emerging-market and US growth-equity strategies. He also served as the primary media spokesperson for active equities, with market insights regularly featured on Bloomberg TV and CNBC as well as in The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. From 2000 to 2005, he held positions at SunAmerica Asset Management and AXA Advisors.

Grant received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University. He also holds the FINRA Licenses Series 7 and 66.
