Meet Camilla

Camilla Leopoldino joined Vontobel Asset Management in February 2017. She is an ESG Analyst in the mtx team within Conviction Equities since 2019. In this role, she coordinates the team’s active stewardship efforts on voting and engagement with companies in which the mtx strategies invest. Moreover, she assesses firms on material ESG factors, performs sustainability research and ESG-risk analysis to refine the proprietary ESG framework, and monitors the international sustainability debate as well as evolving trends. Previously, she was a Marketing Specialist, performing various marketing tasks and managing data-intelligence projects.

Prior to joining Vontobel, she held various positions in business development and strategic marketing throughout Europe. During her financial career, she increasingly shifted her focus to sustainability.

Camilla holds a Master’s degree in International Management, with a minor in sustainability, from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from the School of Communication and Media Studies in Portugal.
