Meet Pamela

Pamela Gelles joined Vontobel in March 2021. As Credit Analyst in the Corporate Bonds team within Fixed Income, she is responsible for US investment-grade corporate bonds and supporting the team’s coverage of the global investment-grade bonds universe.

Prior to joining Vontobel, she worked as a credit analyst at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where she covered issuers of investment-grade or high-yield bonds in the consumer products, retail, lodging, and transportation sectors and, in addition, co-created and implemented a proprietary ESG methodology for corporate-bond analysis. In her previous roles at BNY Mellon Asset Management, Foresters Financial, NLI International, and The Carlyle Group, she covered various sectors, including healthcare and utilities. She was also a ratings analyst at Standard & Poor’s.

Pamela holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts.
