Meet Daniel

Daniel Maier joined Vontobel in 2018. As Head of Thematic Investing and Portfolio Manager within Conviction Equities, he is responsible for thematic strategies such as megatrends.

Before joining Vontobel, he was a research analyst at Notenstein La Roche (acquired by Vontobel in 2018). He started his career at TBF Global, an asset management boutique, where he worked in research and portfolio management with a focus on technology stocks. As a portfolio manager, he was responsible for a fund of global growth stocks.

Daniel holds a diploma in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from the University of Augsburg in Germany. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
