Meet Sandro

Sandro Felicioni joined Vontobel in December 2018. As a Quantitative Investment Manager within the Asset Allocation team of the Multi Asset Boutique, he applies statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to large data sets in order to extract insights that drive business decisions and develop investment strategies. He is responsible for the models behind the AI Powered Global Equity strategy. He also collaborates with portfolio managers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and optimization of investment processes.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked as a Data Scientist at Elca Informatik between 2015 and 2018 where he developed various machine learning models for the Health Care sector. He started his professional career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at UBS.

Sandro holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from ETH Zurich with a major in Machine Learning.
