Meet Pamela

Pamela Gelles joined Vontobel Asset Management’s Corporate Bonds team in March 2021. In her role as Credit Analyst, she is responsible for US investment grade corporate bonds and to support the team’s coverage of the global investment grade universe.

Prior to joining Vontobel, she was a credit analyst at BNP Paribas Asset Management. During this time, she followed both investment grade and high yield companies within the consumer products, retail, lodging and transportation sectors and cocreated and implemented an ESG methodology for the company’s credit analysis. Prior to that, Pamela covered various industry sectors, including healthcare and utilities, at BNY Mellon Asset Management, Foresters Financial, NLI International and The Carlyle Group. Before that, she was a ratings analyst at Standard & Poor’s.

Pamela Gelles holds a Master degree in Business Administration in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts.
