Manfred Büchler joined Vontobel in 2007. Since 2012, he is Portfolio Manager in the Global & Swiss Bonds team within Fixed Income and responsible for Swiss franc bond strategies. Previously, he was Senior Bond Analyst.
Before joining Vontobel, he was a partner of Independent Credit View, where he analyzed Swiss and global issuers. From 2002 to 2006, he was a senior bond analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he covered Swiss financial and corporate issuers and developed a credit rating evaluation model. Prior to that, he held several positions at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where he was responsible for analyzing credit ratings of corporate and public issuers.
