Meet Jim

Jim Stahl joined Vontobel in December 2016. He is a Credit Analyst on the Corporate Bonds team within Fixed Income, focusing on US high-yield bonds.

Before joining Vontobel, he was a senior credit analyst at Pine River Capital Management in New York from 2013 to 2016, with a focus on high-yield and distressed credit. From 2004 to 2013, he worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York and London as a research analyst for the special situations trading desk. Jim started his financial career in 1995 at J.P. Morgan’s investment bank, in the syndicated and leveraged finance department.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Middlebury College.
