Eugeniu Ciobanu joined Vontobel in August 2023. As Implementation Portfolio Manager in the Impact & Thematic Investing team within Conviction Equities, he is responsible for supporting the lead portfolio managers in portfolio construction and risk management.
Prior to joining Vontobel, he worked at Partners Group for five years, first in the Trade Operations team, later as a portfolio manager for private debt. Before that, he worked for Vanguard and Northern Trust in various front- and middle-office roles.
Eugeniu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
