Meet Daniel

Daniel Maier joined Vontobel in 2018. He is Head of Thematic Investing and Portfolio Manager of thematic strategies, such as megatrends, within the Vontobel Conviction Equities Boutique.

In his prior positions, he worked as Research Analyst at Vontobel and Notenstein La Roche. He started his career in asset management boutique TBF Global, where he worked in research and portfolio management with a focus on technology stocks. As a portfolio manager, he was responsible for a fund of global growth stocks.

Daniel holds a Diplom-Kaufmann (Master of Science equivalent) in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg in Germany. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
