Catrina Vaterlaus joined Vontobel Asset Management in fall 2016 as a portfolio manager and manages ESG funds and mandates.
Ms. Vaterlaus had previously performed the same role at Vescore AG (founded in July 2015) and at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG (from 2013). Between 2000 and 2013 she worked at J. Safra Sarasin as the Head of Asset Management Equities, where she managed mutual funds and institutional client mandates for Global Equities and Swiss Equities in addition to European Equities and Lifestyle Funds. Between 1993 and 1999 she worked as the Deputy Head of Investment Research and a financial analyst (buy-side research) for the markets of France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy with a focus on consumer-related sectors. From 1991 to 1993 she was a research assistant in the Financial Policy department of the Swiss Federal Finance Administration.
Ms. Vaterlaus studied economics at the University of Basel (lic. rer. pol.) and is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School Executive Program.
