Meet Catrina

Catrina Vaterlaus joined Vontobel in 2016. As Portfolio Manager in the Global Balanced Solutions team of the Multi Asset Boutique, she is responsible for funds and mandates with an ESG approach.

Prior to joining Vontobel, she performed the same role at Notenstein La Roche Privatbank AG from 2013 and at Vescore AG from 2015 (integrated in Vontobel in 2016). From 2000, she worked at J. Safra Sarasin as Head of Asset Management Equities, where she managed mutual funds and institutional client mandates with global and Swiss equities alongside European equities funds and lifestyle funds. From 1993, she was Deputy Head of Investment Research and a financial analyst (buy-side) for the markets of France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy, with a focus on consumer-related sectors. From 1991, she was a research assistant in the financial policy department of the Swiss Federal Finance Administration.

Catrina holds a Master’s degree in economics (lic. rer. pol.) from the University of Basel and completed the Executive Program of the Swiss Banking School.
