Meet André

André Frick joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2011. As Equity Analyst in the mtx team within the Conviction Equities Boutique he covers the energy and materials sectors. For the first ten years, he also supported and provided investment recommendations for the Impact Investing team (whose former name was Global Trend Investing team), and was the deputy and later leading portfolio manager of the Future Resources portfolio, which focused on advanced materials, specialty metals, energy transition (including renewable energies), and sustainable agriculture.

Prior to joining Vontobel, from 2002 to 2011, he worked at Credit Suisse as a senior research analyst, responsible for the global strategy and global coordination of the oil and gas as well as metals and mining sectors.

André holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Zurich.
