Alex Stauffacher joined Vontobel in September 2019. As Equity Analyst in the mtx team within Conviction Equities, he is responsible for the information technology and communication services sectors.
Prior to joining Vontobel, Alex worked for 10 years in various research and portfolio management positions at Swisscanto Invest, subsidiary of Zürcher Kantonalbank. Most recently, he was responsible for sustainable emerging-markets equity portfolios, covering the information technology and consumer goods sectors. Before that, he worked for two years as a research assistant at Avenir Suisse.
Alex holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Zurich. He is also a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
