Alex Stauffacher joined Vontobel Asset Management in September 2019 as an equity analyst. He is responsible for the information technology and the communication services sectors.

Prior to joining Vontobel, Alex worked for 10 years in various research and portfolio management positions at Swisscanto Invest by Zürcher Kantonalbank. Most recently, he was responsible for sustainable emerging markets equity portfolios, covering the information technology and consumer sectors. Before that, he worked for 2 years as a research assistant at Avenir Suisse.

Alex holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Zurich and is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
