Peter Steffen joined Vontobel in November 2017 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Multi Asset Institutional Clients team. Since March 2025 he leads the team of nine experienced senior portfolio managers within Vontobel Multi Asset, managing more than 12bn CHF in assets for Swiss as well as international clients.
Prior to joining Vontobel he was portfolio manager and a member of the investment committee at Ethenea Independent Investors from 2015. From 2007 until 2014 he worked at DWS (Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management) as a portfolio manager in the Global Equities team.
Peter Steffen holds a diploma in Finance and Asset Management from the International School of Management Dortmund and completed undergraduate programs at the Université de Neuchâtel and the University of Colorado. He is a CFA® charterholder.
