Meet Simon

Simon Trächsel joined Vontobel in November 2022 as a Client Portfolio Manager within Vontobel Fixed Income. In this role, he focuses on the Developed Markets franchise, with a particular emphasis on flexible global bond strategies. His responsibilities include overseeing the completion of RFPs and DDQs, managing monthly reporting cycles, addressing ad-hoc client requests and participating in client meetings.

Before joining Vontobel, he worked at Grant Thornton, where he gained extensive experience in M&A and transaction services for mid-sized companies. He also completed an internship in Audit at Ernst & Young while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at the University of St. Gallen.

Simon holds both a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. meetings.
