Meet Robert

Robert Borenich joined Vontobel in 2007. He is a Portfolio Manager within the Equity Income, Factor & Quant Solutions team of the Multi Asset Boutique. He specializes in managing equity income strategies that use options to enhance income and is also responsible for multi-asset portfolios. Before his current role, Robert managed a broad range of multi-asset funds, where he developed and implemented innovative investment solutions tailored to client objectives. Earlier in his career, Robert was based at Vontobel’s Vienna branch, where he managed systematic investment strategies for institutional clients. His mandates included covered call writing, trend-following strategies, and capital protection approaches, such as CPPI and VaR models.

He started his career in 2000 at Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, advising high-net-worth individuals on multi-asset investing.

Robert completed his studies with a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance with honors.
