Meet Robert

Robert Borenich joined Vontobel in 2007. Since 2012, he has been Senior Portfolio Manager within Quantitative Investments, responsible for multi-asset portfolios and absolute-return mandates. Before that, he was Portfolio Manager at the Vienna branch, where he managed systematic investment strategies for portfolios of Austrian key-account clients. Among others, these included covered call writing mandates, trend-following strategies, and mandates with capital protection approaches (CPPI, VaR models).

He started his career in 2000 at Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, advising high-net-worth individuals on multi-asset investing. Prior to this, he completed several internships in private banking and risk management at various Austrian banks.

Robert completed his job-concurrent Master studies in Banking and Finance with distinction.
