Meet Peter

Peter Whitman joined Vontobel in May 2023. As Head of Strategic Accounts, he is responsible for the development of sub-advisory and intermediary relationships. He has extensive experience in business development with an established track record across retirement, sub-advised, and registered investment advisor (RIA) markets.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he was the Head of Defined Contribution (DCIO) Strategic Accounts at Nuveen from 2017, where he led the firm’s distribution effort with insurance companies and mid-market consultants. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Putnam Investments, Turner Investment Partners, and The Brinson Funds.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Drew University. He also holds the FINRA licenses Series 24, 7, and 63.
