Melissa Demcsik joined Vontobel Asset Management in May 2000 and currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Vontobel Asset Management, Inc., responsible for driving the corporate and business development strategy for the Americas region. Additionally, she heads the Product Management Americas Team, advancing Vontobel’s multi-boutique operation in the US. She brings subject matter expertise in product management and investment operations, with a background in client service.
Prior to joining Vontobel, from 1998 to 2000, she was an assistant vice president and product specialist in the Institutional Marketing Division at Alliance Capital Management. She began her financial career in 1995 at Spears, Benzak, Salomon & Farrell, and worked in their institutional marketing and broker consulting division until 1998.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.
