Meet Matthew

Matthew McMenamy joined Vontobel Asset Management in November 2020 and currently serves as the Head of North America Institutional Client Group. He’s responsible for leading multi-distribution business development, client servicing, and strategic marketing efforts for the firm, focusing on opportunities and relationships with institutional investors and investment consultants in the US and Canada. In addition to leading the institutional team, he’s responsible for developing and servicing institutional clients for the US East Coast region. Matt started at Vontobel as a relationship manager, working with corporate and public pension plans, endowments, foundations, and investment consulting firms to help create investment solutions.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he held a range of responsibilities at Wellington Management Company in business development and relationship management of their institutional business. He served as a United States Navy officer from 2000 to 2006, before working in the investment management business.

Matthew received a Master of Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds the following FINRA licenses: Series 7 and 63.
