Meet Matthew

Matthew McMenamy joined Vontobel in November 2020. He is Head of North America Institutional Client Group, responsible for leading multi-distribution business development, client servicing, and strategic marketing efforts. He focuses on opportunities and relationships with institutional investors and investment consultants in the US and Canada. In addition to leading the institutional team, he is responsible for developing and servicing institutional clients for the US East Coast region. Previously, he was Relationship Manager, working with corporate and public pension plans, endowments, foundations, and investment consulting firms to help create investment solutions.

Prior to joining Vontobel, he held a range of responsibilities at Wellington Management Company in business development and relationship management of their institutional business. Before working in the investment management business, he served as a US Navy officer from 2000 to 2006.

Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He also holds the FINRA licenses Series 7 and 63.
