Meet Melih

Melih Sahin joined Vontobel in August 2020. He is a Portfolio Manager in the Global & Swiss Bonds Team within Vontobel Fixed Income, managing strategies focused on Swiss franc bonds.

Before joining Vontobel, he gained experience in fund management in the areas of Custody and Advisory within the Fund & Portfolio Solutions Team at theScreener Investor Services and in the EAM Fund Acquisition & Development Team at Credit Suisse. He began his career as an intern at ATIG Investment Securities in Istanbul on the brokerage side, working in financial market research and foreign exchange. During his Master’s studies at the University of St. Gallen, he co-founded an EdTech startup.

Melih holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen.
