Vontobel Fund (CH) - Sustainable Balanced Allocation CHF

Fund strategy

The fund invests globally in fixed-income securities from countries, companies and other public and private issuers that promote sustainable Business practices. The fund invests 30 - 50% of its assets in shares and 50 - 70% of its assets in bonds from first-class issuers. Foreign currencies may not exceed 30% of the total. The fund complies with the Swiss Occupational Pension Ordinance, which means that its investments satisfy the regulatory guidelines for occupational benefits schemes. The regional authorities whose bonds appear in the portfolio typically have large environmental and social resources which they manage efficiently. The companies featured in the Portfolio tend to exploit market opportunities that arise from the trend towards sustainable Business practices. At the same time, as part of good corporate governance, they make every effort to reduce financial risk through careful management of environmental and social risks. Accordingly, bond issuers that are exposed to excessive environmental or social risks are excluded from the fund's investment universe.
