Meet Lukas

Lukas Bolfing is Deputy Head Switzerland Institutional. From December 2016 to January 2024 he was Head of Key Accounts and Consultants in Switzerland. From October 2013 to November 2016, he was Head Global Sales Multi Asset Boutique, and from January 2005 to September 2013, he was Head of Relationship Management Institutional Clients Switzerland. Lukas joined Vontobel Asset Management in 2002.

Lukas Bolfing started working in the financial industry with an internship at the Swiss Bank Corporation in Lucerne. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked for SBC the next two years. From 1992 to 1994, he worked as Head of Investment Counseling at the Swiss Union Bank in Küssnacht am Rigi. He transferred to the Cantonal Bank for Canton Schwyz at the beginning of 1995, where he served as Head of Investment Counseling for the branch until the middle of 1999. In mid-1999, he became Head of Portfolio Management and Institutional Investors for the entire bank.

Lukas Bolfing holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Pension Fund Management from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and is Swiss Certified Banker as well as Swiss Certified Pension Fund Manager.
