Cheryl Gedvila joined Vontobel Asset Management in July 2017 as a Client Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Quality Growth Boutique. She is responsible for communicating the firm’s philosophy, process, performance, portfolio positioning and risk management.
Prior to joining Vontobel Asset Management, from 2012-2017, she was a Vice President of Global Corporate Access at RBC Capital Markets, responsible for communicating sophisticated institutional investment strategies and advising high-profile publicly traded companies as they looked to build relationships with potential shareholders. From 2007-2012, she was a founding member and Partner of Hanley & Associates, LLC, where her responsibilities included business and product development, consultative sales, marketing strategy and client relationship management. Her career includes nine years’ experience as a Senior Sell-Side Equity Analyst covering the consumer sector in both emerging and developed markets at Prudential Equity Group LLC (2004-2006), BNP Paribas (1997-2000) and D.A. Campbell Company, Inc. (1994-1997). Cheryl Gedvila began her financial career in 1990 at Banque Paribas as the Head of Treasury.
She received a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994 and her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Chicago in 1989. In addition, she holds the following FINRA License(s): series 7 & 63. Cheryl Gedvila is a CFA® charterholder.
