Vontobel Asset Management announced that Grant Bughman has joined as Client Portfolio Manager to support global client relationships. Grant Bughman joins a team of 31 investment professionals at the Quality Growth Boutique and will serve as a client-facing extension and ambassador of the boutique’s investment team across its long-only global equity strategies.

“Grant’s impressive depth of experience and his familiarity with the needs of institutional and intermediary channels make him a valuable source of counsel for our clients,” said Thomas Wittwer, Chief Executive Officer North America. “The expansion of our Client Portfolio Manager team is a reflection of our long-term commitment to clients and dedication to reinforcing our global market coverage.”

Grant Bughman brings 19 years of experience advising investors, with 14 years at UBS Asset Management, where he most recently served as the lead client portfolio manager for active equities in the Americas region, covering strategies including emerging markets and U.S. equities. “Grant’s addition will greatly support the needs of our clients globally, providing them with a window into our investment practice,” said Chief Investment Officer Matthew Benkendorf.
